This California home was in relatively good condition, except for some termite damaged trim that I needed to replace. However, the paint was not only a dated color, it was faded and chalky (the sign of a low cost exterior paint). After being unable to find just the right color for this house, I designed my own color that the owners loved. Once he saw what new color could do, he said to his wife, “I can’t believe we’ve been living here this long with this old color.” I love the contrast and depth of this blue. It’s somehow fun and classy at the same time, and I used a premium paint that should provide many years of enjoyment with litte maintenance required.
