CABINETRY

All of the cabinets shown here are not new. Instead of replacing the cabinets, they are repainted (in one case, the doors and drawers have been replaced). Refinishing is a great way to save money while still giving your kitchen or bathroom a significant facelift. I use a water based alkyd for an ultra-smooth and durable finish, without the toxic smells of laquer or polyurethanes.

These cabinets didn’t match the other wood, so I painted a faux wood grain finish to match the doors and floor.
See more woodgrain in the specialty finsish section.
